Located within the Greater Truro metropolitan area, Lower Truro is a neighbourhood within Colchester Subdivision C, Nova Scotia.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent transportation option in Lower Truro. Parking is quite easy, and it is a very short drive to the closest highway from any home in Lower Truro. It is inconvenient for pedestrians to navigate this part of Colchester Subdivision C because few day-to-day needs can be carried out without a vehicle. Lower Truro is also not particularly cycling-friendly as the bicycling infrastructure is not very extensive, and the terrain is not especially flat. Nevertheless, biking is fairly common.

Services

There are only a few high schools in this neighbourhood and thus they can be a long trip away. Furthermore, Lower Truro does not have any primary schools. Additionally, it can be very difficult to access daycares as a pedestrian.
