Driving is an excellent transportation option in this part of Colchester Subdivision C. It is very easy to come across a place to park. It is very impractical for people travelling by foot to navigate this part of the subdivision of a county municipality because almost no common errands can be run without the need for a car. It is also very hard to move around by bike in Forest Glen since the cycling infrastructure is quite poor, and there are a good number of slopes for cyclists to brave.

Forest Glen does not have any high schools or primary schools. Likewise, daycares are not numerous and thus not always within walking distance. With respect to food, in all but a very small number of cases, a vehicle is required in this area to reach the nearest supermarket.
