The neighbourhood of Debert is part of the subdivision of a county municipality of Colchester Subdivision B, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Truro metropolitan area.

Transportation

Debert is an extremely convenient part of Colchester Subdivision B for driving. Finding a parking spot is quite easy. It is very difficult for people walking to navigate this part of Colchester Subdivision B as almost no common errands can be run without a car. Debert is also not very suited for biking as there are a fair number of hills, and the cycling infrastructure is not very extensive.

Services

Debert does not have any high schools or primary schools. Furthermore, it can be very hard to get to daycares as a pedestrian. As far as food is concerned, in all cases, a car is needed to purchase groceries.
