Grand Lake Road

The community of Grand Lake Road is part of the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are a great medium of transportation in Grand Lake Road. It is especially convenient to park, and the majority of homes for sale are a short drive from the nearest highway. Cycling is challenging in Grand Lake Road because the cycling network is rather limited, and there are a good number of slopes. This community is also not especially convenient for people who like to travel by walking because running daily errands is sometimes challenging without a vehicle.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in Grand Lake Road. Moreover, daycares are not numerous and accordingly tend to require a very long trip to get to. As far as food is concerned, some, but not all, property owners in Grand Lake Road will live within walking distance of the nearest supermarket. Residents benefit from approximately 20 restaurants and cafes as well.

Character
