Christmas Island

The community of Christmas Island can be found in the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is located in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Christmas Island is especially car friendly. It is very convenient to find a parking spot. This community is not very bicycling-friendly because the cycling infrastructure is not very extensive, and cyclists are faced with a considerable amount of elevation changes. Many of the houses for sale in this part of Cape Breton Municipality are located in places that are also not very conducive to people who prefer to get around as pedestrians since almost no day-to-day errands can be run without a vehicle.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this part of Cape Breton Municipality. Additionally, families may find it very difficult to reach daycares by foot. With respect to eating, shopping for one's groceries very often requires the use of a vehicle in Christmas Island.

Character
