The community of Boisdale is situated within the municipality of Cape Breton Municipality, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Cape Breton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent transportation option in this part of the municipality. It is very easy to park. A majority of the homes for sale in this part of the municipality are located in areas that are not very convenient for pedestrians because almost no daily needs can be carried out without a car. The bicycle is a quite poor method of transportation in Boisdale because there is a considerable amount of hills, and there are very few bike lanes.

Services

In all but a very small number of cases, a car is needed to purchase groceries. With regards to education, there are no high schools and no primary schools in Boisdale. Furthermore, there are only a very small number of daycares and thus they can be a very long distance away.

Character

Boisdale is a very good community to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed ambience. There are a few public green spaces nearby for residents to visit, which makes them very easy to reach. This part of Cape Breton Municipality is also very quiet, as the streets tend to be very peaceful.
