South Bay

The neighbourhood of South Bay can be found in the city of Saint John, New Brunswick, which is located in the Greater Saint John metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent transportation option in this part of the city. Parking is quite easy. On the other hand, public transit users may experience limited choices in South Bay as a result of the service's low frequency. Nevertheless, residents have access to a few bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. This neighbourhood is not very well-suited for pedestrians as running common errands is very challenging without needing a vehicle. The bike is a rather poor means of transportation in this part of Saint John because South Bay has quite bad cycling infrastructure, and bike riders are faced with a considerable amount of elevation changes.

Services

Home buyers in this area usually have to use a car to access the nearest grocery store. Residents of this part of Saint John can enjoy a few restaurants as well. As far as education is concerned, there are no high schools and no primary schools in South Bay. Moreover, daycares are not very abundant and accordingly not always within a short distance.
