Lakewood is a neighbourhood within Saint John, New Brunswick, which is situated in the Greater Saint John metropolitan area.

Transportation

Lakewood is a very good part of Saint John for driving. It is very convenient to come across a parking spot. On the other hand, the public transit service in Lakewood is not very frequent. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and it is very easy to find a nearby bus stop from most properties. Lakewood is not very suitable for people who travel by foot since most daily needs are impractical to carry out without a vehicle. In contrast, commuting by bicycle is easy in this area.

Services

Parents and their children will value the proximity to primary schools and daycares, which are within walking distance from vast majority properties for sale in this part of Saint John. However, it can be very difficult to get to high schools without a car. With respect to eating, it is rarely an option for property owners in Lakewood to reach the nearest grocery store as pedestrians.
