The neighbourhood of Silverwood is part of the city of Fredericton, New Brunswick, which is located in the Greater Fredericton metropolitan area.

Transportation

This part of the city is very car friendly. It is very easy to find a parking spot. On the other hand, this part of the city is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily very close by. It is very inconvenient for people walking to get around in Silverwood because running common errands is very impractical without needing a vehicle. The bike is a sometimes poor method of transportation in this area since the bicycling network is not very comprehensive, and there are quite a few hills. Nevertheless, bicycle travel is moderately prevalent.
