The neighbourhood of Wilkes South is part of the city of Winnipeg, Manitoba, which is located in the Greater Winnipeg metropolitan area.


Wilkes South is especially car friendly. It is very easy to park, and many houses for sale are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway. In contrast, the public transit system in this part of Winnipeg is not very convenient. Wilkes South is not very well-suited for those who travel by foot since running common errands is inconvenient.
