Transportation

Cars are an excellent transportation option in University. Nearby highways are reasonably easy to drive to from any location in University, and it is very convenient to park. On the other hand, the public transit system in this part of Winnipeg is not particularly practical. Nevertheless, property owners are served by around 10 bus lines, and it is very convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most houses. This part of the city is not very conducive to walking as many daily needs are impractical to carry out on foot.

Services

Accessing the nearest supermarket by walking is feasible for some, but not all, house buyers in University. However, a cafe is often just around the corner, and there are a limited number of options for those who value nearby restaurants. Regarding education, it is a rather short walk to access secondary schools from any location in University. In contrast, University does not have any primary schools.

Character

University is a very good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere. This area is very quiet, as the streets are generally very peaceful. Lastly, although University is not home to any green spaces, parks are especially well-spread out in nearby neighbourhoods, which makes it easy to get to them.
