Ridgedale is a neighbourhood within Winnipeg, Manitoba, which is located in the Greater Winnipeg metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is very often the favoured means of transportation in Ridgedale. It is very easy to park, and it is a reasonably short drive to the nearest highway from anywhere in this neighbourhood. In contrast, the public transit service in Ridgedale is not very frequent. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and it is very convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most homes. It is inconvenient for people walking to move around in Ridgedale since few daily needs can be met without a vehicle. Even though bike riders do not face significant elevation changes, bicycling is also at times challenging in this part of the city as the cycling infrastructure is fairly poor.

Services

It is rarely possible for home buyers in Ridgedale to buy their groceries on foot. In addition, a restaurant is often just around the corner, and there are also a few cafes in Ridgedale.
