Located within the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Renfrew is a neighbourhood in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Transportation

Regardless of the means of transportation, it is easy to travel in Renfrew. Owing to a multitude of nearby rapid transit stations with access to the Expo Line and Millennium Line, and about 10 nearby bus lines, the transit service in Renfrew is very practical. A majority of the homes for sale in this area are located in areas that are also well-suited for pedestrians; running common errands is convenient without a car, and numerous businesses are rather close at hand. Riding a bike is rather adopted in Renfrew because the cycling network is moderately well-developed.

Services

It is especially easy to access both a general and a specialty grocery store as a pedestrian from most properties for sale in Renfrew. Likewise, owing to over 50 restaurants and a few cafes, Renfrew is a very good area in which to go out to eat, for instance along Boundary Road. With respect to education, daycares and schools are straightforward to reach as a pedestrian from any location in this part of the city.

Character

Renfrew has a character that appeals to a fairly diverse group of people. Most areas in Renfrew are reasonably quiet, as the streets tend to be quite peaceful, although that is not the case around Trans-Canada Highway or one of the railway lines. On the other hand, reaching green spaces in the neighbourhood, including Renfrew Community Park and Rupert Park, is very easy since there are over 50 of them close by for residents to visit. Lastly, although the atmosphere is not the liveliest in this area, its busier streets can still be quite energetic, and with the nightlife venues in nearby neighbourhoods, it is rather difficult to find a place to grab a drink because they are generally located relatively far away.
