Part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, False Creek is a neighbourhood within Vancouver, British Columbia.


False Creek does not demand use of a car because several other means of transportation are accessible. It is very convenient for people travelling on foot to get around in False Creek; running common errands is very easy by walking, and various businesses are very close by. This area is also a fairly convenient part of Vancouver for cyclists. More precisely, there are countless bike lanes. Large apartment buildings are the most common housing type, representing most buildings in False Creek, and the rest of the dwellings are mainly small apartment buildings. This neighbourhood experienced its most significant construction boom after the year 2000, so most of the available housing is from this era. This part of Vancouver offers mainly two bedroom and one bedroom homes. The population residing in this neighbourhood is evenly split between renters and owners.
