The best means of transportation in Austin West is usually a car. It is very easy to park. However, travelling by transit can be difficult in this part of Prince George as a result of the low service level. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and it is especially convenient to find a nearby bus stop from most residences. This neighbourhood is not very conducive to pedestrians as running day-to-day errands is challenging without needing to resort to a car. The bike is a rather limited means of transportation in Austin West because bicycling is made arduous by the typically steep topography, and the cycling network is not very extensive.
