The neighbourhood of Whonnock is part of the city of Maple Ridge, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

The best mode of transportation in Whonnock is very often driving. Coming across a parking spot is quite easy. A majority of the homes for sale in this part of the city are located in areas that are not very well-suited for those who get around by walking because almost no common errands can be run without a car. Whonnock is also not particularly cycling-friendly because cyclists encounter quite a few elevation changes, and the bicycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive.

Services

Whonnock does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Moreover, it can be very hard to reach daycares as a pedestrian. As far as food is concerned, buying one's groceries usually necessitates the use of a car in this neighbourhood.

Character

Whonnock offers a slower-paced atmosphere and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time in green spaces. The noise levels in this area are very low, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Lastly, it is easy to get to parks in the neighbourhood, since the majority of homes have one that is easy to reach and there are about 10 green spaces nearby for residents to explore.

This neighbourhood is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.
