The neighbourhood of Ruskin is part of the city of Maple Ridge, British Columbia, which is located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a great transportation option in this part of the city. It is very convenient to access a place to park. This part of Maple Ridge is not especially bike-friendly because the cycling network is quite bad, and riding is rendered arduous by the typically sloping terrain. This neighbourhood is also not very conducive to people who prefer to travel by walking since almost no common errands can be run without the use of a car.

Services

It is very rarely an option for home buyers in this area to access the closest grocery store without needing to get in a vehicle. Regarding education, there are no high schools and no primary schools in Ruskin. Likewise, families may find it difficult for their schoolchildren to get to daycares on foot.

Character

Ruskin offers a slower-paced ambience. Ruskin is excellent for those who like quiet surroundings, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. It is rather challenging to access parks in the neighbourhood since they are sparse. Despite that, there are a few parks close by for residents to discover.
