Rothsay

Rothsay is a neighbourhood within Maple Ridge, British Columbia, which is located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Rothsay is particularly car friendly. It is very convenient to access a parking spot. On the other hand, Rothsay is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, property owners benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are typically very close by. Rothsay is not very appropriate for cycling because there is a significant amount of elevation changes, and the bicycling network is not very comprehensive. Most houses for sale in this area are located in places that are also not very suitable for people who like to get around on foot since almost no common errands can be run without a vehicle.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this neighbourhood. In addition, daycares are not plentiful and accordingly may require a very long stroll to get to. In terms of eating, a car is generally needed in Rothsay to access the nearest supermarket.

Character

Rothsay is an excellent neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm atmosphere. There are a few parks nearby for residents to enjoy, which makes it very easy to get to them from the majority of locations within this part of the city.
