The neighbourhood of Lochdale is part of the city of Burnaby, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is often the favoured way to move around in this area. Parking is generally easy. However, the public transit system in Lochdale is not especially convenient. Thankfully, property owners can depend on Sperling-Burnaby Lake Station @ Platform 1 and Sperling-Burnaby Lake Station @ Platform 2 with access to the Millennium Line. The neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most properties. It is at times challenging for people walking to navigate this part of Burnaby as few common errands can be run without needing to use a vehicle. On the other hand, travelling by bicycle is convenient in this area as there are a fair number of bike lanes.

Services

Parents and their kids will value that no matter where their property is situated in Lochdale, primary schools and daycares are nearby. On the other hand, there are only a few high schools and accordingly they can be an extended trip away.
