Big Bend is a neighbourhood within Burnaby, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

This neighbourhood offers house buyers the choice between a diversity of means of transportation. Driving is an excellent transportation option in Big Bend. Most real estate listings are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway, and it is very convenient to find a place to park. This neighbourhood is also moderately transit friendly. More specifically, house owners benefit from a multitude of rapid transit stations with access to the Expo Line. There are around 20 bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. The bicycle is a reasonably good mode of transportation in Big Bend as the cycling network is well-developed. In contrast, walking in Big Bend is not very popular, despite the fact that carrying out day-to-day needs is easy without the use of a vehicle.

Primary schools and daycares are easy to access on foot from most houses for sale in Big Bend.
