Part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Ambleside is a neighbourhood within West Vancouver, British Columbia.

Transportation

A majority of the homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in areas that are rather conducive to those who travel by walking; many daily errands can be run without needing to resort to a car. Commuting by bicycle is also easy in Ambleside. Public transit riders may find few options in Ambleside as a result of the service's low frequency. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. In contrast, Ambleside is moderately car friendly. Nearby highways, such as Trans-Canada Highway, are fairly easy to access from any home in Ambleside, and it is convenient to come across a parking spot.
