Transportation

The best method to move around in Altamont is very often a car. Accessing a place to park is easy, and many real estate listings are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway. However, Altamont is not an especially convenient part of West Vancouver for getting around by public transit. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. Getting around on foot is not very convenient for property owners in Altamont as running common errands is difficult without a vehicle. Bicycling is also challenging in Altamont since the cycling network is not very comprehensive, and there are quite a few hills.
