West End

West End is a neighbourhood within Kamloops, British Columbia, which is situated in the Greater Kamloops metropolitan area.


The car is very often the favoured approach to move around in West End. It is very convenient to park, and it is a reasonably short drive to the closest highway from anywhere in this part of Kamloops. On the other hand, West End is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, there are around 10 bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most properties. Travelling by foot is not very popular in West End, although many daily needs are convenient to carry out by walking.


In the majority of cases, a vehicle is required to shop for groceries. Nonetheless, pharmacies are generally easy to get to on foot and supply some staple foods. A restaurant is commonly just around the corner, and there are also a few coffee shops in this area. As far as education is concerned, it is a reasonably short walk to get to daycares and schools from most properties for sale in West End.

Roughly 40% of properties in this neighbourhood were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while most of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960 and in the 2000s.
