Transportation

Commuting by car is very convenient in Valley North. It is very easy to access a parking spot, and most properties for sale are a rather short car ride from the closest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway. On the other hand, the public transit network in Valley North is fairly poor. Thankfully, residents are served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily around the corner. The bike is a fairly good method of transportation in Valley North. Walking is not very convenient for house buyers in this community since few common errands can be run without needing to resort to a vehicle.

Services

It is a reasonably short trip to access daycares and primary schools from most properties for sale in this area. In contrast, families may find it challenging for their schoolchildren to access high schools on foot. Concerning eating, some, but not all, home buyers in Valley North will reside within a short distance of one of approximately 20 grocery stores. There are also a few opportunities for those who appreciate nearby restaurants and cafes.

Character

Valley North offers a relaxed environment. Valley North is very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - although there are still several louder sections, especially near one of the railway lines, the airport (Chilliwack Airport) or Trans-Canada Highway. Many locations within the community have reasonably good access to green spaces, including Ferry Island Provincial Park and Harrison Knob Conservation Area, since they aren't well-distributed. Still, there are over 100 parks nearby for residents to visit.
