Part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Dollarton is a neighbourhood within District of North Vancouver, British Columbia.


Dollarton is a very good part of District of North Vancouver for moving around by car. It is especially convenient to access a parking spot. In contrast, Dollarton is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences. Commuting by bicycle is difficult in this part of the municipality as the cycling infrastructure is rather limited, and riding is made arduous by the often steep terrain. Dollarton is also not very well-suited for those who travel by foot because meeting day-to-day needs is inconvenient by walking.
