The neighbourhood of Cove Cliff can be found in the municipality of District of North Vancouver, British Columbia, which is located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Getting around by car is straightforward in Cove Cliff. It is especially convenient to park. On the other hand, Cove Cliff is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, homeowners are served by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally very close by. Commuting by bicycle is convenient in Cove Cliff. Most houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in areas that are not very well-suited for people who travel as pedestrians as running daily errands is inconvenient without a vehicle.

Services

Parents and their children will appreciate that no matter where their home is situated in this part of the municipality, daycares and schools are close by. With regards to food, it is rarely practical for house buyers in Cove Cliff to shop for their groceries by walking. There are also a few options for those who appreciate restaurants and cafes in close proximity.

Character

Cove Cliff is an excellent neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a calm ambience. There are about 10 parks close by for residents to unwind in, including Myrtle Park and Wickenden Park, which makes it very easy to reach them. This part of District of North Vancouver is also wonderful for those who like quiet surroundings, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.

Housing

Around 90% of the properties in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and 10% are rented. The predominance of single detached homes in the housing stock of this neighbourhood is an important part of its character. About 40% of properties in this part of the municipality were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while most of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1980s. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.
