Part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Cleveland is a neighbourhood within District of North Vancouver, British Columbia.


Cleveland is very car friendly. Finding a place to park is generally easy. However, the public transit service in Cleveland is not very frequent. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally just around the corner. Travelling on foot is not very convenient for house buyers in Cleveland as very few daily needs can be met by walking. Cleveland is also not very bike-friendly since cyclists are faced with a significant amount of elevation changes, and the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed.


Primary schools and daycares are convenient to get to on foot from anywhere in this part of District of North Vancouver. On the other hand, this neighbourhood does not have any high schools. Regarding eating, it is convenient to get to the nearest supermarket by walking in Cleveland. A limited number of restaurants can be found in this part of District of North Vancouver as well.


Cleveland offers a calm ambience and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time in green spaces. This neighbourhood is very quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Finally, green spaces, like Malaspina Park and Capilano River Regional Park, are very well-situated and there are around 10 of them nearby for residents to check out, which results in them being very easy to get to from many locations within this area.


The large percentage of single detached homes in the housing stock of Cleveland is an important part of its character. About 40% of homes in this neighbourhood were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while the majority of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960 and in the 1980s. This part of District of North Vancouver offers mainly three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. Roughly 85% of the dwellings in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and 15% are rented.
