Transportation

This area affords property owners several alternative modes of transportation. Lonsdale is a fairly convenient part of City of North Vancouver for getting around by public transit. In particular, homeowners have access to approximately 10 bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually very close by. It is also very convenient for pedestrians to get around in Lonsdale; running daily errands is easy without a vehicle, and there are also a fair number of businesses in proximity. Lonsdale will attract physically active people because it is moderately suited for cycling. In particular, the cycling infrastructure is rather extensive.

Services

Property owners in this area will be pleased to learn that a general and a specialty grocery store is always only a very short trip away. Furthermore, there are over 100 restaurants and approximately 10 coffee shops to experience in this area. It is also very easy to access a number of clothing stores without the use of a vehicle. Character

Lonsdale has a character that appeals to a fairly diverse group of people. Even though the atmosphere is not the most lively in this community, its main streets are still quite dynamic, and finding one of the a few nightlife venues is very easy since they are generally situated in very convenient locations. Most areas in Lonsdale are quiet, as the streets tend to be quite tranquil, although that is not the case closer to the railway line or Trans-Canada Highway.
