The neighbourhood of Heritage Valley can be found in the city of Edmonton, Alberta, which is located in the Greater Edmonton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Heritage Valley is an extraordinarily good part of Edmonton for driving. It is a reasonably short car ride to the closest highway from any home in this neighbourhood, and it is convenient to park. On the other hand, Heritage Valley is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, house owners benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are commonly around the corner. It is inconvenient for pedestrians to move around in this part of Edmonton as running common errands is inconvenient without a vehicle. In contrast, Heritage Valley is rather bike-friendly as the cycling infrastructure is well-developed, and cyclists do not encounter serious hills.

Services

It is a reasonably short trip to access both primary and secondary schools from most properties for sale in Heritage Valley. In contrast, families may find it difficult for their children to reach daycares on foot. As far as eating is concerned, property owners in Heritage Valley will welcome that a grocery store is always only a rather long trip away. A small number of restaurants and coffee shops are available as well.

Home buyers who prefer a relaxed ambience will enjoy Heritage Valley. This area is reasonably quiet overall, as there are low levels of noise from traffic. Most of the housing growth in Heritage Valley has taken place following the year 2000. The housing stock of this part of the city is composed predominantly of single detached homes and row houses. Roughly 90% of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and 10% are rented. This part of Edmonton also has a variety of housing sizes; however this area is particularly good for those looking for three bedroom homes.
