The neighbourhood of Empire Park is part of the city of Edmonton, Alberta, which is situated in the Greater Edmonton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Empire Park will appeal to house buyers that appreciate different means of transportation. Commuting by public transit is easy in this area. For example, it is easy to find a nearby rapid transit station, including Southgate Station on the Capital Line, from the greater part of properties in the neighbourhood. There are approximately 10 bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and the nearest bus stop is generally very close by. This part of the city will also attract people who appreciate being in a walkable community because it is reasonably geared towards walking; carrying out daily needs is easy without the need to get in a car, and a fair number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Biking is convenient in this part of Edmonton as the cycling network is reasonably extensive, and there are not many hills to confront bicycle riders.

Housing

Large apartment buildings are the predominant housing type, representing roughly 30% of dwellings in Empire Park, and the rest are mainly small apartment buildings.
