Part of the Greater Edmonton metropolitan area, Casselman is a neighbourhood within Edmonton, Alberta.

Transportation

Driving is often the best approach to navigate this area. It is convenient to come across a place to park. On the other hand, Casselman is not an especially convenient part of Edmonton for moving around by public transit. Thankfully, there is Clareview Station with access to the Capital Line. There are about 10 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and it is very convenient to find a nearby bus stop from most houses. Casselman is rather bicycling-friendly because there are a fair number of bike lanes. However, there aren't many pedestrians out on the streets of this part of Edmonton, although meeting daily needs is easy without a car.

Services

The nearest supermarket in Casselman is usually only an extended distance away. Furthermore, there are a good number of opportunities for those who care about nearby restaurants and cafes. With respect to education, daycares and schools are convenient to access as a pedestrian from any location in Casselman.

Character

Casselman has a character that appeals to a fairly diverse group of people. Although the ambience is not the liveliest in this area with the bars in nearby neighbourhoods, it is very easy to find a place to grab a drink because they are generally located very close by. The noise levels in Casselman are very low, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. It is easy to get to parks in the neighbourhood since there are about 20 of them close by for residents to unwind in.
