Transportation

Cars are an excellent transportation option in River's Edge. Nearby highways are quite easy to reach from any location in River's Edge, and it is especially convenient to park. In contrast, public transit users may find very few choices in this part of Edmonton due to the service's low frequency. It is difficult to commute by bike in this area because there is a considerable amount of slopes, and River's Edge has a quite poor cycling infrastructure. Most houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are also not very well-suited for those who travel by foot as meeting day-to-day needs is very challenging.

Services

In all but a very small number of cases, a car is needed to shop for groceries. With respect to education, this neighbourhood does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Additionally, daycares are not particularly numerous and accordingly may require a rather long walk to get to.
