Part of the Greater Edmonton metropolitan area, River Valley Mayfair is a neighbourhood within Edmonton, Alberta.


The best transportation option in this part of the city is usually a car. It is very convenient to park. On the other hand, this area is not an especially pleasant part of Edmonton for getting around by public transit. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are usually nearby. This part of the city is quite cycling-friendly since there are a very large number of bike lanes. However, walking is not very common in this neighbourhood, even though running common errands is convenient on foot.


It is very rarely practical for home buyers in River Valley Mayfair to do groceries on foot. Conversely, a restaurant is often just around the corner. In terms of education, there are no high schools and no primary schools in this part of the city. Likewise, families may consider it difficult to reach daycares as a pedestrian.
