Place LaRue is a neighbourhood in Edmonton, Alberta.


This part of the city is especially car friendly. It is a very short drive to the closest highway from anywhere in this neighbourhood, and parking is quite easy. On the other hand, this part of Edmonton is not especially transit friendly. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by approximately 10 bus lines, and it is very easy to find a nearby bus stop from most properties. Travelling by foot in this part of Edmonton is not very popular, even though most daily needs are convenient to carry out by walking. Despite the fact that cyclists do not encounter serious elevation changes, moving around by bicycle is also at times difficult in Place LaRue since the bicycling infrastructure is rather limited.


It is usually feasible for property owners in Place LaRue to do grocery shopping by walking. Moreover, there is commonly a restaurant or cafe just around the corner.
