Cars are a very good transportation option in Jackson Heights. It is convenient to park, and nearby highways are very easy to reach from anywhere in this area. In contrast, public transit riders may have few choices in Jackson Heights due to the low service level. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by approximately 10 bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. Getting around on foot is not especially practical for home buyers in Jackson Heights because few daily errands can be run without a vehicle. On the other hand, Jackson Heights is fairly bike-friendly because the cycling infrastructure is reasonably good.
