The neighbourhood of Eastwood can be found in the city of Edmonton, Alberta, which is situated in the Greater Edmonton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Eastwood enables home buyers to move around by different modes of transportation. It is easy for pedestrians to get around in this part of the city; many common errands can be run on foot. Eastwood is also reasonably amenable to biking since riding a bike is made easier by the generally flat terrain, and this neighbourhood has a very good cycling infrastructure. Owing to a multitude of nearby rapid transit stations on the Route 512, and a few nearby bus lines, commuting by public transit is convenient in Eastwood. Eastwood is also reasonably car friendly. It is a short drive to the nearest highway from anywhere in this part of the city, and it is easy to find a place to park.

Services

A general and a specialty grocery store is always only a short walk away in this neighbourhood. Furthermore, Eastwood is a good place in which to go out to eat, and a limited selection of cafes is available as well. As far as education is concerned, families will welcome the proximity to primary schools and daycares, which are within walking distance from vast majority houses for sale in this part of the city. However, there are no high schools in Eastwood.

Character

The character of Eastwood is exemplified by its relaxed environment. It is very easy to access parks in the neighbourhood since there are a few of them close by for residents to unwind in. This area is also good for those who need quiet surroundings, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic.
