Cumberland is a very convenient part of Edmonton for getting around by car. It is very convenient to find a place to park. In contrast, getting around by transit can be difficult in Cumberland due to the infrequent service. Thankfully, house owners benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most residences. Cumberland is reasonably suited for bicycling because the cycling infrastructure is very well-developed, and there are a limited number of slopes. A majority of the homes for sale in this part of Edmonton are located in areas that are not particularly conducive to walking because running daily errands is occasionally difficult on foot.

Services
