The neighbourhood of Parkland can be found in the city of Calgary, Alberta, which is located in the Greater Calgary metropolitan area.

Transportation

Travelling by car is straightforward in this area. It is very easy to come across a place to park. On the other hand, travelling by public transit is challenging in Parkland. Nevertheless, house owners are served by approximately 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most homes. Parkland is moderately amenable to bicycling because the cycling network is fairly comprehensive. Many of the homes for sale in this area are located in places that are not very suitable for people who get around by foot as very few day-to-day needs can be met without a vehicle.

Services

It is difficult to get to the nearest supermarket on foot from most homes for sale in Parkland. A small number of restaurants and coffee shops are available as well. In terms of education, parents and their schoolchildren will value that no matter where their property is located in this area, daycares and primary schools are close by. On the other hand, high schools are not very abundant and therefore tend to require a long trip to get to.

Nearly 90% of the properties in this neighbourhood were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while most of the remaining buildings were built 2000. This neighbourhood offers mainly three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.
