Parkdale is a neighbourhood in Calgary, Alberta.


Owing to a few nearby bus lines, Parkdale is quite transit friendly. Most houses for sale in this area are located in places that are not particularly convenient for walking as few day-to-day errands can be run without having to use a car. Although bicycling is facilitated by the generally flat terrain, Parkdale is not very amenable to biking since. However, driving is a great transportation option in this neighbourhood. It is easy to access a place to park, and it is a short drive to the closest highway from anywhere in Parkdale.


Both primary and secondary schools are straightforward to reach on foot from most homes for sale in Parkdale. Parents are served by public and private schools at both the primary and secondary school level. However, daycares are not very numerous and accordingly not always within walking distance.
