Transportation

Notre Dame Island permits property owners to move around by various methods of transportation. Notre Dame Island is a fairly convenient part of Montréal for pedestrians; many common errands can be run without needing a vehicle, and there are also a fair number of businesses in proximity. Cycling is rather adopted in Notre Dame Island because there are innumerable bike lanes. With 2 rapid transit stations (Jean-Drapeau Station and Station Longueuil-Université de Sherbrooke (zone B) on the Ligne 4 - Jaune, and over 50 nearby bus lines, the very good public transit infrastructure allows people to get to many destinations without needing a vehicle. Notre Dame Island is also especially car friendly. It is very easy to park, and the majority of the street network is conducive to driving.

Services

A vehicle is usually needed in this neighbourhood to access the nearest grocery store. Nevertheless, pharmacies are generally convenient to reach as a pedestrian and supply some basic food items. There are also a few choices for those who value restaurants and cafes in close proximity. Regarding education, both primary and secondary schools are easy to access by foot from most homes for sale in this area. In contrast, there are only a few daycares and thus they can be an extended stroll away.

Character
