Trait-Carré is a neighbourhood within Québec, Quebec, which is located in the Greater Québec City metropolitan area.

Transportation

Getting around by walking is rather practical for house buyers in Trait-Carré; many daily errands can be run without the need for a car. The bike is a good means of transportation in this part of Québec. Trait-Carré is very car friendly. Parking is generally easy, and the majority of homes for sale are a short car ride from the closest highway, such as Autoroute Laurentienne. On the other hand, public transit riders may have limited options in Trait-Carré by reason of the infrequent service. Thankfully, there are around 30 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far away from most properties.

Services

Property owners in this neighbourhood will welcome that a grocery store is always only a rather short distance away. Furthermore, a restaurant is usually just around the corner, and house buyers benefit from a few cafes as well. House buyers can find a fair number of nearby clothing stores. As far as education is concerned, parents and their children will welcome the proximity to daycares and schools, which are within walking distance from most, if not all, properties for sale in Trait-Carré.

Character

No matter what type of character home buyers prefer in a neighbourhood, Trait-Carré is a reasonably good option. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of three bedroom and two bedroom homes. About 60% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home and the rest are renters.
