The best way to get around in Rural Vaughn is usually driving. It is very easy to find a place to park. On the other hand, this area is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, there is the Maple Station on the Barrie Line. There are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are generally a short walk away. This area is not very conducive to those who travel by foot because very few common errands can be run on foot. Bicycling is also challenging in Rural Vaughn as there are quite a few elevation changes, and there are few bike lanes.


There are only a limited number of primary schools in this part of Vaughan and thus they can be a rather long walk away. In addition, this neighbourhood does not have any high schools. In addition, it can be challenging to get to daycares on foot. Regarding food, property owners in this part of Vaughan typically need a vehicle to do their grocery shopping. There are a few opportunities for those who value restaurants and cafes in close proximity.

This part of the city is also reasonably good for those who enjoy a quiet atmosphere, as the streets are usually quite tranquil - although that is not the case around Highway 400 or the railway line.
