Part of the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area, West Hill is a neighbourhood within Toronto, Ontario.

Transportation

West Hill affords property owners the choice between several means of transportation. This area has a good public transit system. There is the Guildwood with access to the Lakeshore East. The neighbourhood is served by around 10 bus lines, and bus stops are usually very close by. Most homes for sale in this area are located in places that are also suitable for people who travel by foot; many common errands can be run without a vehicle. Travelling by bicycle is easy in West Hill.

Services

Parents and their children will find that wherever their house is situated in West Hill, schools and daycares are close by. With respect to food, it is very easy to access the closest supermarket without needing to get in a vehicle in this part of Toronto. Moreover, West Hill is a fairly good place in which to eat out or go to a cafe. It is also convenient to get to a variety of clothing stores on foot.

Character

West Hill offers a relaxed ambience and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time outdoors. Greenery is quite prominent in this part of the city as the tree canopy coverage for numerous streets is reasonably good. There are over 50 parks nearby for residents to relax in, like The Valley at UTSC and Highland Creek Community Park, and they are very well-located, making them very easy to get to. Most areas in this part of the city are reasonably quiet, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic.
