The neighbourhood of Humber Summit Industrial is part of the city of Toronto, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.


The public transit system in this neighbourhood is fairly good. For example, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. In contrast, the bicycle is a rather poor mode of transportation in this area since the cycling network is not very well-developed, and there are a good number of slopes for cyclists to brave. Walking is not very popular in this part of the city, even though many daily needs can be met without the use of a car. On the other hand, the car is usually the favoured transportation option in Humber Summit Industrial. It is very convenient to park, and many homes for sale are a short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Highway 407.


There are only a limited number of high schools in Humber Summit Industrial and therefore they can be a rather long walk away. In addition, this part of Toronto does not contain any primary schools. This area is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Roughly 80% of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and the rest are rented. This neighbourhood experienced its most significant building boom between 1960 and 1980, so most of the available homes are from this time period.
