The neighbourhood of Bloor West Village can be found in the city of Toronto, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.


No matter the medium of transportation, it is reasonably straightforward to travel in Bloor West Village. The great public transit infrastructure allows people to get to many destinations without needing a car. For example, rapid transit stations, including Jane Station and Runnymede Station on the Bloor - Danforth Line, are not very far from the greater part of residences in the neighbourhood. There are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. This part of Toronto is quite amenable to cycling as there are a good number of bike lanes.

This part of Toronto is primarily composed of four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Roughly three quarters of the dwellings in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners while the remainder are rented. Most homes in this neighbourhood were built before the 1960s, during its most significant construction boom.
