Agincourt is a neighbourhood within Toronto, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

This part of the city provides home buyers with the choice between different methods of transportation. The transit system in this part of the city is good thanks to Agincourt with access to the Stouffville, and approximately 30 nearby bus lines. Agincourt will also draw people who appreciate being able to walk to everything since it is reasonably walkable; many common errands can be run without the need to use a car, and a fair number of businesses of different types can be found as well. The bicycle is a good mode of transportation in this part of Toronto.

Services

It is easy to get to both a general and a specialty grocery store without a car from anywhere in Agincourt. Likewise, this area is a fairly good place in which to eat out or go to a cafe. Property owners can find a good number of clothing stores within walking distance. With respect to education, schools and daycares are very convenient to access without the need to get in a car from anywhere in this part of the city.

Character

Agincourt offers a calm atmosphere and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time outdoors. This area is reasonably quiet, as there are low levels of noise from traffic - however some parts can be quite noisy, especially closer to one of the railway lines or Highway 401. Finally, greenery is reasonably prominent in this part of the city as most streets have fairly good tree coverage. Accessing public green spaces, like Brimley Woods and Iroquois Park, is very easy from many locations within the neighbourhood since there are over 50 of them nearby for residents to unwind in.

Housing

Single detached homes are the predominant housing type, representing roughly one third of dwellings in Agincourt, but large apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock. This part of Toronto has a good variety of unit sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms.
