Part of the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area, Uptown is a neighbourhood within Mississauga, Ontario.

Transportation

Regardless of the medium of transportation, it is quite straightforward to move around in Uptown. Owing to a few nearby bus lines, the public transit service in this part of Mississauga is fairly good. Walking is also practical for house buyers in Uptown; many common errands can be run without needing to resort to a vehicle, and there are also a fair number of businesses close by. The bicycle is a sometimes poor means of transportation in this part of the city since riding is made strenuous by the often hilly topography. Nevertheless, biking is more feasible in certain areas than others, and the bicycling network is reasonably well-developed.

Both general and specialty grocery stores are typically accessible within a short walk from any location in Uptown.
