The neighbourhood of Vinegar Hill can be found in the city of Markham, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.


Driving is a great medium of transportation in this neighbourhood. It is very convenient to access a parking spot, and the majority of homes for sale are a very short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 407. In contrast, getting around by public transit is challenging in this area. Nonetheless, residents have access to a few bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. Travelling by foot is not very popular in this neighbourhood, despite the fact that many common errands can be run on foot. This part of Markham is also not very amenable to biking since travelling by bicycle is made strenuous by the typically sloping area, and the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed.
