The neighbourhood of Eastwood is part of the city of Kitchener, Ontario, which is located in the Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo metropolitan area.


Eastwood is very car friendly. The majority of houses for sale are a very short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Highway 7, and finding a parking spot is easy. In contrast, Eastwood is not especially transit friendly. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are generally nearby. Walking is not very popular in Eastwood, although meeting daily needs is easy. The bike is a rather poor method of transportation in this part of the city as the bicycling network is not very well-developed, and bicycle riders encounter a considerable amount of hills.


It is frequently practical for house buyers in Eastwood to buy groceries by walking. Additionally, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner. It is also a reasonably short walk to a decent choice of clothing stores. As far as education is concerned, in Eastwood, families will usually be able to access both primary and secondary schools on foot. However, it can be difficult to get to daycares on foot.
