The neighbourhood of Alpine can be found in the city of Kitchener, Ontario, which is located in the Kitchener - Cambridge - Waterloo metropolitan area.


Alpine is an extremely good part of Kitchener for getting around by car. The majority of homes for sale are a very short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 7, and finding a place to park is generally easy. On the other hand, commuting by public transit is occasionally difficult in this area. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are typically nearby. There aren't many pedestrians out on the streets of Alpine, although many daily errands can be run on foot. Alpine is also not especially suited for biking because this part of the city has a sometimes poor bicycling infrastructure, and there are a fair number of slopes. Nevertheless, a few enjoyable pockets for cycling can be found.


It is a rather short walk to reach primary schools from most homes for sale in Alpine. In contrast, Alpine does not have any high schools. Concerning food, it is convenient to access the nearest supermarket by walking from any home in this neighbourhood. Likewise, a restaurant is often just around the corner, and there are also a few cafes in Alpine.


Alpine offers an extensive selection of green spaces to enjoy. It is very easy to reach parks in the neighbourhood since there are a few of them nearby for residents to explore. This part of Kitchener is relatively quiet, as there are few pedestrians, although there can be higher levels of noise for those who are around one of the railway lines or Highway 7.


Many of the properties in Alpine were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while the majority of the remaining buildings were built in the 2000s.
